Individual arts training by professional artists with a passion for education, who cultivate caring relationships and develop personalized, pre-professional curricula specific to each student’s craft
A college-preparatory education by licensed secondary (gr. 6-12) teachers and adjunct college instructors, including English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Humanities, foreign languages, and a host of electives, based on the needs and interests of the students
Academic curriculum based on national educational standards, focused on the student’s development of critical knowledge, logic, creativity, and interpersonal skills, but NOT focused on how well a student can pass standardized tests
2-3 hours of daily arts instruction, including no less than 2 hours in the student’s Academy, as well as opportunities to learn from the other 3 disciplines
A flexible schedule for students who are cast in professional productions during the normal school day (this may include online learning opportunities, and must be discussed with the Chancellor in advance of each production)
Annual opportunities for students to experience high-quality performance productions, including theatre, dance, student recitals/concerts, or art exhibitions
Exposure to professional local, regional, and national arts companies, as well as master classes, mentoring relationships, and collaboration with guest artists
1 private voice or instrumental lesson, or 1 semi-private dance class/week (more available for an additional fee).
Tuition for the 2018-2019 school year is $12,000*. Monthly payment schedules are available.
A 5% discount will be given to tuition paid in full by June 1st for the following school year.
*does not include meals/lunches, instructional materials fees, or incidental fees for specific Academies (i.e. dance attire, etc.)
